did you do away with the edit your posts function?

went to edit one of my posts from yesterday and don't see the Edit button showing at the bottom of my post.

I am logged in but still no joy.

You should have the ability to edit. You are limited to one edit every 60 seconds.

Mike, maybe a bit got flipped you weren't aware of, but the edit ability expires now once a post is 60 minutes old. A normal user can only edit their post within the first hour after posting. I actually had the system tell me that recently, I started to edit prior to 60 minutes but wasn't fast enough.

after an hour, edit button is now gone.

IIRC Mike did that to avoid having people go back and edit out their prior contributions.

One such person went through like 200 posts and changed his posts to: "Outa here!" and deleted some good info. Another went so far as to delete articles he'd submitted that are sorely missed. Both in a fit of childish revenge.

I got a message that there ws 5- minute limit on editng. What's up with that?
