Looks to be in a pretty nice collection I wonder how much it'll go for.

If my calculations are correct, the present high bid translates to about $25K USD with a couple of days to go. I suspect that it will go for a lot more than that!

Exact same thing I was thinking. Looking at the MB coupe up under other auction items makes me think more and more that this car is in fact from that barn find.

I was looking at his other auction too. Now I am going to revisit that link and dig into identifying the cars that were there and whats on ebay. Or I could just email the seller and ask him if these are cars from that find and if there are any more listed anywhere.

They say it is not from that find. It does need a lot of work, just from sitting. Yes it will go for more than $30K. Shipping is almost $5K, there are not many shipping companies in Portugal.

If you can get it to Antwerp or Rotterdam it will cost you less than 2k USD to ship it to the East Coast, a bit more for the west coast.

My wife and I just sold our apartment in Canada and are looking for a car to buy here in Europe .... wonder if she will kill me for buying it... wait, she would kill me for thinking of of buying, so I should just stop there.

Auction was canceled, and the seller say he will relist it.

Heres the reason he gave for canceling the auction:

The car will be on auction again from this morning, because some bidders had no time enough to come and see the car.By my mistake i put the car on auction for 7 days instead of 10, so for some of them time was short to organize the trip to see the car.Beeing like that the only way i have to extend the auction it's to stop this one and restart another one to allow them one more week.
