Did you notice that on every TV show involving cars, like Pinks, Bull Run, etc. always have cars that are "professionally built," yet break down n half way to the end? My car club (ZACO) has been from Cleveland, to Dallas, Miami, Syracuse ( all the national Z car shows) with the stock 240s for a number of years, yet has never had a car break down! On bull run, the Lambo ( a very expensive car?) has had clutch problems the whole time.

They need a stock Focus or maybe even a Hyundai to run these challenges and probably win, and use the extra gas money they saved to celebrate. :squareeye

Kinda gives credit to the unsung OEM engineers that designed the cars. Its very hard to "improve" a car without making it:

1. Less reliable.

2. Less safe.

3. Slower.

And always remember, the term "Tuner" is synonymous with "Idiot."

On the 510 you bought, of all the upgrades on it, how many made it slower, less reliable or less safe??

There are many 510 owners who view the car as a box onto which one can hang any number of upgrade parts, many of which come from Zs.

Up this way even a percentage of roadster owners are going the update upgrade route to get more reliability, a faster ride while making it go where it's pointed and stop when one mashes on the brakes.
