not for this car.

its 100% original, so a fuel would kill the resale value, as it will be for sale if i ever find a tank.

i do have my 77 that i am keeping. i thought of switching to a cell on that, but i just dont have the time to mount it properly right now. to many projects at once is a headache this[------------------------------------------------------------------------------------]big

thanks

I know the 77 tank is different than a 76/75. Weather or not you can get it to work I'm not sure.

I know a shop here in denver has one but it needs work I think the pickup tube is broken But I'm not real sure about that. I would have to call him ask.

tbk1- i need an efi tank for the 280, but, i do have several 240's that may need a tank as well.

can you get some pics of it?

i cant have any rusted pin holes in it, but i plan on having cleaned and reseales anyway, so rusty on the inside is ok to some point.

cethern-how much? how rusty(see above)

thanks

tony

Hey Tony

He wants 75/100 for it. I think it's thats high for a tank that the pickup tube needs to be fixed. Thats why I passed on it for my 75. Just how bad is the tank you have now? I read where POR15 will fill pin holes and such.

I'll go over and take another look at that tank just the same it mite not be as bad as I remember.

You might consider talking to the guys at the following url:

http://www.gas-tank.com/

They might be able to help you out...I had a pretty good caved in area on the bottom of my tank when I sent my tank to them. When I got it back you could not even tell where it was damaged...don't cost anything to ask...
