im about to buy a z!! after months of waiting and drooling and dreaming! i have come to one . yay!! im soo happy. i will be seeing it tomorrow. and driving it home! im soo happy.

its a 73 z, clean title, has minimal rust, on the hatch latch area, and fender. but can be fix.!!

yeah im gonna have to take some pictures, warning im no photographer. ha i really do suck.

my plans so far. is to get her up and running, she was running but stopped so i gotta fix that, fix the rust, basically bring her back to a streetable and drivable car once again!

then its time to go serious.

its mostly stock. with some random pep boys parts

Not a bad first zed to cut your teeth and by the looks of it, you could have plenty of nights ahead tinkering and tweaking. Whip that carpet out and have a good look at the pans and get a torch under the front and rear guards and look hard.

Please sort that handbrake adjustment out first. It's not a WRC rally car.

Interesting that this 73 comes with the slot for the hand throttle lever (next to the choke lever). Are 73's all like this or has it had a console transplant?

That center console doesn't look like a 73 console. I might be wrong, but I haven't seen any with that type console. If you don't mind me asking, what was the purchase price. It is the same year as my Zed and seems to be in near the same condition. Nice car, your gonna have a lot of "fun" for the next few months... I know I did. I learned a lot of new things. Looks like you live in So-Cal, maybe you can take her to the West coast Nationals... If you decide to take her tell me so that I don't feel so bad about taking mine too!

thanks. i got it for 1050. in LA, yeah haha do you have pics of youre car? thanks, it is a nice car. :cheeky: yeah for sure , but she needs a tranny swap. hopefully by the end of summer? yeah. ill take me some time to get her street drivable again.

Yeah, My car was Red when I bought it, but I sanded it and Primered it gray for now... I haven't taken care of the body yet. I'll post some pictures as soon as I can.
