March 30, 200718 yr comment_204107 1975 Datsun 280Z ORIGINAL STOCK - NOT Restored Nice car, straightforward ad. I would like to see the seller post some shots of the undercarriage/floorpans, but other than that, I think the car is fairly well represented in the photos. Here are some for posterity. March 31, 200718 yr comment_204282 Yeah, I thought the same thing. nice 280Z but $12,500.00??? :surprised For that price there should be absolutely NO imperfections in the paint job.It is the original 30+ year old paint. If it had been repainted, people would be posting "$12,500 for a repainted car?"If you read the other threads you would be led to believe it cost $40K to "do it right". That is what is said every other time a nice one comes up for sale. March 31, 200718 yr comment_204286 No question It's for sure a nice one and he should get a good amount for it but believe it or not, I've seen classic 280Z's with the original 30+ yr. old paint job with no imperfections at all with even a little less miles on them go for around that same price. He says "The original gold 304 paint is in great condition considering its age, a very faint light crazing and water blemishes in some places. There is also a small area which looks like a chemical spill on lower left front hood (see photos) and the front right fender is off a shade."Like =Enigma= said "Nice but not $12,500 nice." April 1, 200718 yr comment_204322 So that's what my car looked like when it was new. Note the Alpin Blue paint on the charcoal canister bracket. It's the little things...
