... Do you attend the [Austin] Z club meetings locally?

I've been to 3 of them over three years. My Z is running real nice now so I intend to get my attendance record in better shape. I've noticed I get in my Z as much as possible until it hits 100 degress which is usually Memorial Day weekend.

And, besides working flawlessly, it certainly has a lot of HRC!!! (High Rate of Coolness)

I love my Mallory Unilite. The price almost 1/3 less now and its very rugged. I think you need the alternator upgrade to make it sing.

Somebody asked about why you would run the ballast resistor with the Mallory, Not sure if it was answered or not but the Mallory Unilite runs on NO MORE than 10 Volts DC.

The Unilite was built to be used with the stock ballast resistor ignitions. So make sure that you read all the instructions about wiring it up and proper voltage measurements.

Dave.

P.S. I have the Mallory Unilite, Mallory Promaster Coil (Square and Black), MSD 6A and MSD Tach Adaptor. No problems yet. Unless you count the time that I left the ignition switch on then plugged in the distributor and just about gave myself a Fricken heart attack with 65,000 volts to the left arm. :tapemouth :tapemouth :dead:
