Does anyone have a good source for McGard lug nut kits? I've had a set on order for 4 weeks with Summit now and they keep moving the ship date out. I'm hoping to find someone who has the 65454GD in stock. This is the Gold spline drive kit with locks. I'm willing to pay a bit more than Summit's $77.95 to get them in my hands at this point. Here's a pic of what I'm after:

Ok now it's been 4 momths and Summit continues to bump the "expected arrival" date out. I e-mailed McGard and they said they have them in stock and Summit should be able to fulfill the order. Apparently Summit has simply chosen not to. My guess is that they are waiting to get a number of orders in line before they order from McGard. Bastards! I can by them direct from McGard but they're twice the price! Still looking for an alternate source.

www.Jegs.com has them for $97.00

Both Jegs and Summit are telling me that they're on backorder and won't be in any time soon, even though McGard says they have them in stock. I guess 1 order isn;t enought for these "big" distributors to order me a set........:finger:

I'm gonna try ordering them from sfxperformance. Maybe they'll give a $^!# about customer service.

Well, in their defense, I'm pretty certain that McGard won't sell them just one kit of that part number. Not to a wholesale customer, at the cheap wholesale price. They probably come in a master carton of 10 kits or more. And frankly, gold tuner kits for 12x1.25 are not very dang popular, especially for those places which specialize in American iron. So I can certainly understand them not being willing to order a whole case of something that they are going to sit on forever once your single order has been filled.

I'd be looking to get them from a wheel specialist who'll be more likely to be able to sell the rest from the case, or just bite the bullet and order them direct from McGard.
