240zGraham73 Posted April 10, 2007 Author Share #4 Posted April 10, 2007 Here are the pics of my car!!! Sorry about the psyching you all out and then just waisting your time. I showed the rust on the driver's door and the cracks in the dash other than that its rust free(hopefully)!!! The 73 carbs have been swapped out for 32 36 Webers. The guy I bought the car from is rebuilding the 72 carbs and said he would put those on, I am undecided which carbs to keep though, Any input would be appriciated! It better have worked this time or I'm going to be mad:mad: http://www.classiczcars.com/photopost/showgallery.php?cat=500&ppuser=14175

=Enigma= Posted April 11, 2007 Share #7 Posted April 11, 2007 Very nice. It looks like you got a good deal. Hard to say for sure without pics of the frame rails, T/C box, and battery tray area, but it looks to be in great condition. Same color inside and out as mine which has a build date of 4/73. I'm also curious how close our VINs are. Mine is listed in my signature.

240zGraham73 Posted April 12, 2007 Author Share #9 Posted April 12, 2007 I didn't show any pics of the frame and battery box or those other places just becuase there is no rust even the spare tire well is in perfect condition. As for Vin and production date, The car was made in 4/73 and vin is 154866.I am just going to keep fixin the thing up, I'm going to get the rust spot fixed and the car needs new tires so I might look into wheels for it too. I'm thinking about taking the bumpers off but I'm not to sure if that will leave giant holes in the body where the were mounted. Anyone know? =Enigma= Posted April 12, 2007 Share #10 Posted April 12, 2007 Cool, our cars our close relatives. Taking off the bumpers will not leave huge holes, but it will definitely look a bit naked up front. Here's a link to a user's gallery who has removed both the front and rear so you can get a look.http://www.classiczcars.com/photopost/showgallery.php?ppuser=13903&cat=
Ramses Posted April 12, 2007 Share #11 Posted April 12, 2007 Mine 10/72, still needs work. Keep the bumpers and and fix them up. I would suggest not taking them off unless you plan on getting the body kits that are available so you can paint them the same color as your car.
