May 31, 200816 yr comment_249442 Are you doing the swap yourself ? Do you have the tools to do the engine install. Do you have salvage yard or pic-n-pull connections? There only two places I have seen engine/tranny installs or swaps done for less than $6k, and thats the Grassroots challenge and a friend on mine who did it for about $8k, but he has a lift, some dragracing and hot-rod connections and everything Craftsman tools make. I have spent about $14k on my LS1 swap and that does not include tools (some you can rent), and I still need brakes, tires/wheels and paint. Good luck if you can make it happen.
