Posted April 12, 200718 yr comment_205705 Just a reminder on the Clocks, first one Arrived. Check the link below for updates and please delete this post if it's deemed redundant. Just thought I add a reminder thread instead of having to wade through all the post on the other. http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/showthread.php?t=24546 ~Z~ Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/23933-clock-arrived-rally-calender/ Share on other sites
June 23, 200717 yr Author comment_213097 YOYOYO ! The 2 knob Rally Clock and the 1 knob Calender Clock both arrived today ! The Rally Clock did not come with a Osicillator though, "Straight Bummer". I'll post pics tomorrow here but mostly on the ( Rally Clock ~ Clocks ~ ) thread which is linked in the above post I'll also have more information on the clocks as I take a look at them tonight. As always if you would be intersted in any of the clocks please send in those PM's and we'll proceed as previously planned in the ( Rally Clock ~ Clocks ~ ) thread. June 24, 200717 yr Author comment_213109 HELLO I got up some some pics as best I could for now. The 1 knob Calender Clock does have it's face plate cover and glass. I just took it off during the photo shoot so I could give it a good cleaning but it looks like it will need to be restored by the ZCLOCKS.COM guy. He does great work on these clocks and this face plate glass for the 1 knob will need his help. But the good news is the Clock face itself is in exellent shape with bright, crisp lettering as well as the 2 Knob Rally Clock too I will post more pics in the ( Rally Clock ~Clocks~ ) thread right now along with the link to more photos. ~Z~ Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/23933-clock-arrived-rally-calender/#findComment-213109 Share on other sites

June 25, 200717 yr comment_213215 Those clocks are very nice looking indeed.By the way, how accurate should the "standard" clocks be? Of all the cars that I have owned from the 70's my Z is the only one with a clock that works at all.It loses about 2 minutes per week. Is that normal? If not are there places that will clean and adjust a clock of this vintage? June 25, 200717 yr comment_213216 My standard clock in my 280Z works fine, doesn't lose time and the same goes for my 810 though it's digital and considerably different fron a Z clock. I might have to contact Barbara Billingsley to translate what WingZro said. Pan= My slang word for JAPAN imasu= Japaness word meaning ( is, are, am) pronunced "IMAS" with a silent "U" slangu= Japness version of the word (slang). Kind of like adding "O" to the word "Sprite", which is a soda pop name, making their version of the name called "Sprito". Japaness friend I met told me that one on the greyhound Bus LOL yo= Japaness word meaning (for) Japan= .......well, we all know that one ~Z~ Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/23933-clock-arrived-rally-calender/#findComment-213220 Share on other sites
