April 13, 200717 yr comment_205843 I have been married 26 years & I want to remain that way..... I understand completely-contrary to my silliness! My wife enjoyed my Z before we were married, and loved the car as though it was hers, but I had to promise her we would not take the Z on our honeymoon. We went back and forth about that issue several times, and finally amid much protest, I caved. We were married 90 miles from our house in her mothers church. Imagine my suprise when wh exited the church to find my Z waiting to be a part of the festivities. She had it brought up, had it detailed, and had my best man decorate it-knowing he would be careful with what went where. I still don't know how he kept the secret from me and got it all done. he is the worlds biggest UGA fan, and we were married GA/Fla weekend! When she puts her foot down she expects results-in a Z or not! Seriously, I hope to go next year in the 240Z and share the experience with my wife and boys. Reading your post from several years ago sharing the smiles enthusiasm and new-found understanding and appreciation from the first ride through the course in the Z with your son makes it even more appealing! Maybe my wife can drive the other Z with the other son, and we can swap out the boyZ for the return trip...but then, Thomas has already laid claim to the '68 2000, so it may be a Z and a Roadster...
