July 4, 201113 yr Author comment_360663 Marc.........New fan and fan clutch.......I cleaned the brake lines with brake cleaner and steel wool and painted them with aluminum VHT paint. Hunter.....I glass beaded the aluminum parts and painted them with aluminum block paint. I screwed the valve cover down to a flat piece of wood and taped up all other entry holes.......one piece of grit can be bad news. Same thing with the oil pan.....bead blasted that, then acid etch prime, then semi gloss black enamel.
