According to Alan Thomas in a thread from long ago the true 432 grille part numbers are 62300-E4101 and 62300-E7200 for the 432R. I can't find those parts but Courtesy used to offer 62300-N3000:

http://www.courtesyparts.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=62300-N3000&Category_Code=

which is still available from here for $134:

http://www.nissanparts.cc/cart/?pn=62300N3000

http://www.nissanpart4u.com shows it for $130.87. I can't link directly to their page so you'll have to search by part number.

Here's the original thread:

Concure with MikeW. The 62300-E4101 shows application to the Japanese Fairladys (all versions) and the 432 Fairlady. The 62300-N3000 indicates from model year '73. The E7200 version is listed for the 432R. Our version of the grill E4601 is listed for the export models H and HL. This grill on eBay is used!?!??? Perhaps it is the E4101 version which is why Charlie wants so much for it?

Aint the grille pattern the same but the mounting points different?

I sold my 62300-N3000 NOS Grille on ebay for $237 and change to a race team in "I believe" Florida to a guy who named Guy who wrote me this,

"I AM TRAVELING TODAY TO A RACE AT HEARTLAND PARK AND WILL GET THE MONEY TO YOU WHEN I HAVE ACCESS TO MY COMPUTER. THE GRILL WILL GO TO GOOD USE ON THE EP 240Z DRIVEN BY GREG IRA AT THE RUNOFFS THIS YEAR. YOU MAY WATCH IT ON SPEED WHEN THE EP RACE AIRS ON SPEED."

And I belive Arne might remember this conversaation we had, and this was before I was a Club Member ! Imagine my suprised when I joined ROFL ! !

"Hello,

You have your facts wrong, my car is a factory stock 1975 Nissan Fairlady Z car with the exception of two Nissan (JDM) accessories installed at the Japanese dealer who sold the car.

These items are the, "IMSA legal three piece spoiler" Nissan part number PN# 9/6-E6001 & the Headlamp covers PN# 63900-E4126 & PN# 63901-E4126 .

The grill you are selling was the original (OEM) part on many & many, Z cars not destined for the US, UK and Australia, hence the JDM label.

The 432 was a car that had more "Hidden Facts" than the public will ever know. Not too many people have ever even seen more than a picture of the Nissan "Holy Grail".There are many books out there that can educate you, if you want the actual facts and history on all Z cars.

This is a great grill you are selling, but I just wanted to add a few remarks to what you have mentioned about Fairlady Z432's. 432 stands for four valves per cylinder, 3 carburettors, and 2 cam shafts. It is a 2 liter motor. There were roughly 380 to 420 Z432's built as you mentioned, but a believed less than 20 Z432-R's built. There are many differences between a Z432 and a Z432-R. It seems like you know much more about it than the average Zcar enthusiast. I would enjoy talking about it sometime. I drive a 260z. I have outfitted it with many Fairlady Z parts, as I too am a Fairlady Z enthusiast. Good luck on the sale.

Best wishes,

Ben
