Hey Super People out there!:

I just ordered some stuff from Black Dragon for my Z. Any reports of problems with them?

As I am just starting my retro and rebuild; anyone got other sources I should check out for parts and enhancements?

Welcome to the club. I have purchased things from Motorsport zcarparts.com and Too Intense Restoration DatsunRestore.com And have been vary satisfied with either. Also Zeddfindings is another especially for sheet metal replacement, but he has many other things. Gary:rambo:

Zbarn is another choice, but the return time for information is a tad slow.

z1motorsports might be an option, they deal mainly with 300zx's, but still worth a call, you'll never know if you don't ask.

Hi Scotty Z,

I have bought many parts from Black Dragon as well and have had no problems. They are very prompt and knowledgeable as well. They will send you a free catalogue as well if you ask. ArizonaZ.com is also good as well.

I have had no problems with Black Dragon or Courtesyparts- both have been excellent.

All was good with Motorsport until my most recent order. Good news- it got here in four days- far exceeding my expectations! :knockedou . Bad news: they picked one incorrect part, a inside tail light panel/ 6"X9" speaker box.

They promptly ran a call tag for the wrong item, but I have been waiting over two weeks since receipt of the other parts to get the correct part in. I called a week ago today, and they blamed the delay on the Nationals and said it would ship that day by ground. One week later, still waiting. :( I hope it gets in this week.....

It doesn't seem right to hold me up due to a mistake timed w/ the Nationals. If it were my business, I would have expedited shipping to make up for my mistake and bad timing. A surprise given my past experiences with them...

Be sure to let MSA know you are a CZCC club member (you will have to give them your CZCC number) and they will tag a 10% discount to all your orders. All MSA needs is a product catalog that they claim they have been working with for at least 2 years now.

I will never buy another part from ZBarn in Tenn. I went there (on my wifes birthday - what a present to her- right!) and picked up a few parts including a front over rider bar and coming back to my home town I dropped it off at the plating company to have it triple dipped re-plated. 6 weeks later went and picked it up and the damn thing was the wrong size(it's on ebay right now with no reserve if anybody needs one that is in fantastic shape - hell, it was never installed). The owner will not call back, NO SERVICE from my past experience.........it's the last money he got from me............just a heads up on THE ZBARN.

I have called seveal times to the customer service line at Black Dragon and they are very un-knowing and all they can tell you is item description and price and on hand.

I have purchased from most the other vendors above and MSA is a good one stop shop that has a complete inventory for new products. I have been very satisfied and have spent a lot with them.
