May 7, 200717 yr Author comment_208731 no it's running great, and they were orignally built and setup for this motor, I got it as a package deal! as far as the linkage adjust that wont do it, One linkage per set of carbs, everything appears to be internal for the right side of each pair! May 8, 200717 yr comment_208768 Let me first tell you I wouldn't recommend doing this, but it is possible to tweak the throttle shaft without removing the carbs. You would first have to be certain that is the problem. When you remove the linkage and the nut on either end of the throttle shaft you will see the flats that can be wrenched in opposite directions enabling you to twist the shaft. It would have to be done in the half throttle position. Myself, I wouldn't take a chance of causing damage to the throttle plates. It would be much better to wait until future disassembly and you have a good look, otherwise you could make a small problem a bigger one. May 8, 200717 yr comment_208779 I've also seen bent Mikuni butterflies especially if your set does not have linkage stops on the carbs. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/24207-tunning-trip-webbers/?&page=2#findComment-208779 Share on other sites
