well she tailgated you right? So she caused the 2nd item to happen. Accidents suck no matter whos fault, but looks like it's all her fault. Seems so from what you said.

Good luck keep us informed.

yes. following too closely is an "at-fault." you could not safely go from a stop because you, like 40% of all americans, drive a manual transmission. if someone is following too closely for you to safely move forward, they are at fault. period. and there are CA laws that state that. so iuf need be, go to court and WIN A NEW PORSCHE! :D

mention this to an attorney, or your insurance company. A similar situation happened to my sis many years ago-a slight tap (her fault) with no damage, no police report (no damage), and no hard feelings...until three months later, all of a sudden the bumper was bent and rusting, and about to fall off, yada yada yada...

A quick phone call from an insurance investigator made everything go away.

You mention you "neutral back a little bit in my daily driver", on a hill?

Then you might be the one at fault for not preventing your vehicle from moving backward.

Report it to your insurance company, and explain the situation. Might not help much, but... it's worth a try.
