spidee1666 Posted May 11, 2007 Share #1 Posted May 11, 2007 Hi guys, I'm having a problem with a friends 240z I'm helping him work on. WHen I press the clutch in it goes in pretty easy and it's not working like it should. A mechanic friend said it probably needs a new master cylinder. I replaced that and it's still not working. Not sure if I just need to bleed the lines good? need to work on the slave? or if it's something worse. Thanks for any help...you guys ROCK...Ryan
e_racer1999 Posted May 12, 2007 Share #2 Posted May 12, 2007 could be the slave, could be the rubber hose that connects them, could be the pressure plate, could be something else mechanical. bleed the lines again. what fluid are you using? are there any leaks? Zedrally Posted May 12, 2007 Share #3 Posted May 12, 2007 Have you checked the slave cylinder? This usualy fails before the master.
