What I did on mine was cut out the floor just like you did, and then I cut out sheet metal pieces just bigger than the holes in the floor. Then I put a bead of window sealer caulk around the hole in the floor, set the metal on top, and screwed it in place. Then I fiberglassed around the edges, and grinded the screws tips off of the bottom of the car.

THE ABOVE TYPE OF ''REPAIR'' IS WHAT CAN KILL YOU. All that is holding the new sheet metal in place is some window caulk and a few screws. The fiberglass over the rust will just allow it to continue to spread and rot away the metal until the floor falls through. Gary:rambo:
