Hello all! i'm in the process of getting my car back up and running, but am having a bit of trouble sourcing some parts for my build. i'm on a pretty tight budget, but what i'm looking for is the following.

radiator (that will fit my 240Z)

5 speed trans (in good operational order, needs no bearings replaced, and including the speedo gear)

and the last item isn't really necessary to get my car up and running, but it is necessary for my speedo to be correct - 280Z R200 moustache bar.

if anyone has these parts and wants to be rid of them, i will gladly take them! i'm trying to stay within $300 for the lot, since i still need to acquire a few easier to find parts as well.

thanks again guys, and please lemme know if you can help!

Jason

I am looking at another parts car right now, haven't quite come to terms with the seller yet. But it has a good original style 240Z radiator, as well as an R200 and all the necessary bits there for. Should know if I get it by this weekend.

I have an like new radiator, you pay shipping and packaging and its yours. Let me know, Indiana is a long ship you might do better closer to home. Let me know and it's yours. jlp

BUMP to seek more local parts; and also to add some more ports to the list :D

i'm also looking for a 280Z clutch collar (to work with my centerforce II clutch)

and a 280ZX alternator

FYI - I didn't get the parts car I was looking at. While I was weighing the options, some one else apparently bought it. :disappoin

It's probably for the best. While i could have easily at least broken even on it, the fact is that there just wasn't a lot of parts on it that I need for the yellow car. A few, but not all that many. So it probably wasn't the right car for me at this time. Which was probably why I didn't move very fast on it. Still keeping my eyes open though.

I would reccommend making sure you get a three row radiator. Mine is made by csf radiators and it has been great. They are very knowledgeable and will ship it right to your door. Mine bolted right up with no problems. I think mine was like $189. It's been about three years ago though. Their site is csfimports.com. Hope this helps.
