So I adjusted window gaps yesterday...

and in order to do that, I had to remove the door panels. No big deal, right? Well it wasn't, until the dreaded conditions of While I'm At It and What The Hell combined.

The car is SO much LOUDER without interior body panels...

I found rust, of course. Some in the door panels, mainly on the window guides, and some under the toolbox area, below the speaker area. None of it appears to be too bad, though we all know looks can (and often are) deceiving.

why did you drive the car without the panels David?:)

Because I could, Mohamed, because I could.LOL ...and now that the panels are out, I'm going to clean them and perhaps apply Krylon(ish) panel paint. Until then, no panels.

Thinking of which, does anyone have any suggestions regarding recoloring cloth parts (see headliner picture)?
