zbane Posted May 15, 2007 Share #1 Posted May 15, 2007 and in order to do that, I had to remove the door panels. No big deal, right? Well it wasn't, until the dreaded conditions of While I'm At It and What The Hell combined. The car is SO much LOUDER without interior body panels... I found rust, of course. Some in the door panels, mainly on the window guides, and some under the toolbox area, below the speaker area. None of it appears to be too bad, though we all know looks can (and often are) deceiving.

Because I could, Mohamed, because I could. ...and now that the panels are out, I'm going to clean them and perhaps apply Krylon(ish) panel paint. Until then, no panels. Thinking of which, does anyone have any suggestions regarding recoloring cloth parts (see headliner picture)?
=Enigma= Posted May 16, 2007 Share #4 Posted May 16, 2007 I found the following article on interior refinishing by searching on Google.http://www.rangerpowersports.com/tech/?p=119You could also look for some upholstery dye. A good upholstery shop that also retails products should carry this sort of thing. Hard to say what the color choice might be....
