throw in your old Z calipers as a core (they dont know the difference) and you can get them for cheaper LOL.

BTW those autozone crap pads melted on my rotors after a 10 min track session. I would recommend new pads =)

exaaaaaactly what i was gonna do

thanks for the heads up! will do!

my car hasn't been running in 9 months. it's getting a full overhaul right now. i don't know about 14"s; but i think it fits most 14s. it fits 15s and 16s easy.

the calipers require you to very tightly rebend the short brake line that goes from caliper to flex hose. Very easy to cause a kink.

i bought longer brake lines and made a larger "loop" rather than tighten the "s" bend.

or from what's i've understood, you can use the MSA SS brake lines instad and just run them to the hard brake line on the frame of the car. Less work and great pedal feel. (someone correct me if i am wrong.)

lowell, what did the hard brake lines cost you and where did you get them?

My local O'Reilly's had AGS hard brake lines with the correct fittings on each end. They are easily bent with a cheap tube bender. When I put Toyota 4x4 calipers on I used part number BLJ-308 left (8-inch line) and BLJ-312 right (12-inch line). The lines where about $5 each.

i forgot to add that :)

I just bought generic brake line you find in any auto parts store like NAPA, and bent using a small tube bender and hands. Cost wasn't much, but don't remember. The issue for the original "s" tube is the curve you have to make is smaller than the tube bending tool will fit. I don't know the length I bought, but guess about 8 inches. I just made a single "loop" as I recall rather than a very tight S curve. This brake tube line goes from the caliper to the brake hose, meeting at the fitting station on the strut. the hose of course then connects to the brake line on the body at the fitting station on the "frame" rail.

I just thought I would mention that when I did the conversion bending the tube was the issue for me.
