bonzelite Posted May 20, 2007 Author Share #2 Posted May 20, 2007 listing is incorrect in it's title, but the car appears pretty nice.
Alfadog Posted May 20, 2007 Share #3 Posted May 20, 2007 This car has a history on ebay A real pity he still hasn't sold this to someone who will really enjoy it. Wonder if he's got his "real C10 GTR" yet :cheeky:
Mr Camouflage Posted May 20, 2007 Share #4 Posted May 20, 2007 Those photos are from 2 years ago, when the guy who is now selling it did an off ebay deal with original owner who has listed it on ebay. It was originally listed, and the buyer convinved the seller to cancel the auction and bought the car for $3000Since then he's tried to resell it on ebay a number of times, and always annoys potential buyers by yanking it off ebay in the last day because he wants $10,000 for the car, and the bidding hasn't reached that much. He even canceled the auction and re-listed is as a buy it now for $12,000 once. You can read all about it here:http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/showthread.php?t=21279
bonzelite Posted May 21, 2007 Author Share #5 Posted May 21, 2007 wow. i had no idea that car carries such "baggage." the car is indeed nice, but maybe he subconsciously doesn't want to sell it.
khughes Posted May 23, 2007 Share #6 Posted May 23, 2007 no.. i think he is just greedy..how much does he want?... tell him his dreaming!
bonzelite Posted May 24, 2007 Author Share #7 Posted May 24, 2007 yes, that may be more the case. he wants too much for it and expects larger profit than is actually warranted or realistic.
Mr Camouflage Posted May 25, 2007 Share #8 Posted May 25, 2007 Auction ended Zero bids. Surprise, surprise.

bonzelite Posted May 27, 2007 Author Share #10 Posted May 27, 2007 well i guess that later time is right now. it's on ebay again. with price lowered to more realistic level. it will still cost about USD$3000 to import and register it. but if you're down under it's no so bad for the shape it's in. Alfadog Posted May 27, 2007 Share #11 Posted May 27, 2007 If one was desperate to find a 240K in good condition, the I suppose one might pay that much.Maybe he should not include the turbo bits and pieces that are worth $1300 and take that off the price? Mr Camouflage Posted May 27, 2007 Share #12 Posted May 27, 2007 I wonder what the "VELISIDE REAR WING AND OTHER BODY KIT" looks like.http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300115286539He's dropped the starting price from $6990 to $5999 (which is still 2990 more than he paid for the car). And the Buy It Now price: has gone from $10,000 to $7,999.
