Looking For Z Poster

Recommended Posts

I'm looking for a clean (non-race) poster of an early Z. I haven't yet found much. I think one of the suppliers has a technical drawing, and I've found one small poster on epay. I'd like something in a 24x36 size or so that would be appropriate on the wall of my stall at work (Nissan dealer), so no girlie pictures etc.

Devin,

I don't know of any available posters for Z's other than the one for the Black Pearl which I've seen for sale at local car auctions. I see you've looked on Ebay, that's where I'd continue to look.

As an option, a friend of mine is a Porsche 968 fanatic and he took a number of pictures of his car and several other 968's and then had a poster created by a local graphics house. It turned out great, I don't remember the cost though.

Good luck with your search.

What "size" would be of interest?

I have a friend who knows something about this type of work, and I've floated an inquiry to her. No response yet, but I know the question of 'size' will come up real early in a discussion.

Let me know how much interest there is in this as well. I have a background in printing, and from experience know that there is a better per unit price as the quantity increases. The majority of the costs are associated with preparation and set-up.

Pat,

The last time I saw that poster for sale it was well over $200. The old original Z promotional posters are very collectable and pricey. If you think these are rare, try the racing posters! Or the rally posters!

I have this poster I would sell - 24x36 size. I took the photo.

I print for a living and I don´t think it is to expensive to reproduce a very good quality image that size.

The price depends on the picture, some people have better cars and eyes to take pictures.

Im far but i can print some images and send them to you, if you pay the shipping they are yours (just send the picts) I can print on polyester with a very very good quality. Another fact is that they can be rolled to a very small size . And after that you can mount them using a wood frame just like a canvas frame.

Still looking....I have in mind something around 24x36, I have this huge white space with nothing on it. I don't have a specific image, as somebody said there are those with a good eye for shots, and I'm not one of them. A blown up reprint of an original ad would be OK too.
