to make it faster, what would it be?

i'm specifically looking for chassis and suspension ideas from those that have been running these cars for a while.

now that i've "retired" the old vette from track days, i'm preparing my '73 for some weekend fun.

this will NOT be a competition car, nor will it need to be STREET LEGAL. so pretty much anything goes. but i'm looking for the best return for the money. since this is not to be a competition car, i.e. i won't win any money to recoup my expenses, i am looking for the best and least expensive mods to make the car more fun to drive.

BTW, i have the drivetrain taken car of. going chevy and 5 speed.

If it could have a holiday at a competition level race shop to fix all the halfway hack jobs I did to it would be the best thing for my car. Fix all the bad weld jobs, lack of much safety equipment and probably another 250 lbs could be lost.

Other than that, I am the one holding back my car due to diminished driving skills lost to lack of aggressive use.

ANYTHING?

CF every panel that's not welded to the chassis. Doors, hatch, hood, fenders, valence, cowl. Lexan windows, full cage, no interior. Stroker L28, independent throttle bodies, DFI, crank trigger ignition, OS Giken twin cam head, straight pipe with dumps at the rocker in front of the rear wheels coming from a 6 into 2 header, ZG flares, Watanabe RS-8s...I'm out of ideas.

So, care to hear the realistic version?

I think I would start with this for the drivetrain

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/JDM-RB25DET-R33-SKYLINE-GTS-S13-S14-SWAP-RB25DET_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33615QQihZ018QQitemZ280163354698QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW

Then add a lsd, go through the entire car and fix any rust, upgrade the suspension, then put a full cage in it.
