BRE-240Z Posted October 19, 2007 Share #13 Posted October 19, 2007 I'd paint it.....Actually that's going to happen before the end of the year. I just got back from the body shop, where I got an estimate on the paint and body work that the car needs.

billyjarrell Posted October 19, 2007 Share #15 Posted October 19, 2007 gotta agree with sailor bob here. RB engine would definately make the ultimate Z in my opinion.
Spraguepsycho1 Posted October 19, 2007 Share #16 Posted October 19, 2007 The nice thing about the RB's is there is so much aftermarket support for them, the only limit is your credit line . I'd love to have the RB25DET or RB26DETT with a 6 speed. I've seen a few videos on Youtube with both engines in old Z's and they look extremely fast. mbc Posted October 19, 2007 Share #18 Posted October 19, 2007 I'd register it.With my work taking up most of my time, there's little left to find the motivation to get this car on the road. Smog laws and 29 year old parts are sure making this project less and less exciting.:disappoin:disappoin:disappoin
mel marabante Posted April 25, 2008 Share #19 Posted April 25, 2008 i'd give my z the best paint job, all the upgrades to make the original engine the fastest it could be...and i mean all, replace all the seats and carpet, best body kit, best tires and wheels....ahhh....i should just settle for a beemer. wishihadaz Posted April 25, 2008 Share #21 Posted April 25, 2008 ANYTHING?CF every panel that's not welded to the chassis. Doors, hatch, hood, fenders, valence, cowl. Lexan windows, full cage, no interior. Stroker L28, independent throttle bodies, DFI, crank trigger ignition, OS Giken twin cam head, straight pipe with dumps at the rocker in front of the rear wheels coming from a 6 into 2 header, ZG flares, Watanabe RS-8s...I'm out of ideas. Couldn't get an OS Giken head for all the money in Japan. But for a suspension how bout......... ArizonaZcar's full "Roadrace Suspension" with Tokico Illuminas, billet alum. steering knuckles, mustashe bar and diff mount, urethane bushings, front and rear swaybars, and front and rear strut tower bars. You could literally dial it up-down, hard-soft, street-track. I've got too much time on my hands today!
