Posted June 9, 200717 yr comment_211792 Greetings All, There is no bluebook value for under 1980 Z's that ive found, take a look at my pic gallery, i decided to purchase her for 2700 us. title and odometer state under 76,000 miles, few small rust bubbles on rear fender and some minor dings here and there. other than that seems almost all original. all the numbers seems to match and I wouldnt git rid of her for anthing at this point, question is how much do 77 280's go for in good condition? June 9, 200717 yr comment_211794 Hi Jack - It sure looks like keeper to me. Being a low milage car in almost original condition, you will get many years of enjoyment with miminal expenditures. Just don't let those rust bubbles get away from you. That should be your No. 1 priority. I was going to say how much I like the color, but fact is, Z's look great with most colors. I've got a new favorite every week! As far as placing a value on it, you will be the best judge of that when you start comparing it with ones for sale. I think you made a good buy. Have fun with it! June 9, 200717 yr comment_211795 from the NADA website:1977 Datsun 280Z coupeLow retail: 3525Average retail : 6325High retail: 9750If $2700 bought you that car, and only that amount of rust--with the interior condition I'd say it was a fair price! I assume your car is the most recent set of pics, as there's another 280 in your gallery that looks a bit rougher...Or was that before the car got painted?Enjoy your new find!Steve Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/24544-value-of-a-77-280/#findComment-211795 Share on other sites
June 10, 200717 yr comment_211803 I only see pictures of one car in his gallery. Looks to be in good shape and well worth the purchase price. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/24544-value-of-a-77-280/#findComment-211803 Share on other sites
