Winning bid was 4,000,000 Yen. Genuine KPGC10 I believe.

Just a little over US$33,000.00 . . . Genuine. I guess I guessed wrong.

The only 'problem' being that the car had lost its registration number through years of storage and the previous owner not being present ( either deceased or otherwise incapacitated ) - so a possible lack of paperwork. A little bit of bureaucracy to deal with, but not impossible.

A little inconvenience . . . ooooh Alan, you must know something or someone.

Hopefully another one saved then....... :-)

Hopefully saved and returned to running condition. Yay!

that's pretty awesome a find and then spectator event for us. i've never seen such a transaction happen, ie, sale of a rough C10 GT-R like that. i always see or hear of mint or near-mint condition ones. this barn find is just wonderful.

it is correct about the KPGC10 and the flares: only came with rear black flares. fronts were left unaltered. however, KPGC110 (1973) has factory bolt-on flares front and rear.
