I was looking at MSA and debating on the Motorsport header or the 3 into 2 with the turbo exhaust. Opinions from the wise ones either way are greatly appreciated. Any real advantages on one header over the other?

Eric,

Fist off there is a ton-O-info in the archives on headers....check it out! But basiclly, the 3-2-1 header works a bit better on the bottom to mid and the 6-1 header on the mid to top. However, with a stock motor you are not likely going to notice much improvement over the stock manifold. On the other hand exhaust tone will improve.

Thanks Tom. I did see a lot in the previous posts, I just wanted to see if there was an undying love for either of those headers. I just have a somewhat stock exhaust now that isn't seated well and I'm sure it is leaking. Either will be a vast improvement!

Interesting info Tom, thank you. From my research I had always found that the 3-2-1 style was best...though you provide a bit more detail (low vs mid vs high end).

3-2-1 won, will be in next week. I'm leaving the round tops in and just replacing the cam in the fall so it should work out nicely. Thanks for the input guys. Experience is one of the best gauges of a product.
