Posted June 25, 200717 yr comment_213226 Hey all. I have a spare 79 ZX engine that I would like to use the fuel rails off of. Reason being that my 77 has all the little rubber links that tend to crack in the heat and leak right onto my exhaust manifold. The 79 does not have this and they also shined up better. Will I see any problems if I do this? I wasn't sure if the fuel pressure regulator would be set the same of if there was some other difference in the rails I should be aware of before I do this. June 28, 200717 yr comment_213528 CSK lists different pressure regulators for the two rails. My assumption is that the pressure rating is the same, but I honestly don't know for sure. If you decide to try it, please let me know how it turns out, since those little rubber pieces irk me as well. June 28, 200717 yr comment_213541 They mount differently. If you use the later solid rail use the FPR that goes with it. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/24701-switch-77-fuel-lines-for-79/#findComment-213541 Share on other sites
