XR3000 Install ZX

Hey Gang,

I am about to do the XR3000 install on a 79 ZX.

The wiring and everything seems pretty straight forward but my question is regarding the stock ignition module (E12-80).

Does it stay wired in as is?

If so MSA, sells a XR700 module that replaces the factory module, would this be a good idea to do?
