I really don't know if i like the little lip spoilers all that much. I do plan on getting one of the full MSA airdams with the break cooler ducts in it for my car when it comes time to get painted.

In my opinion, a small lip spoiler (like the BRE Spook) is great on a 240Z, much better looking than an air dam or valance replacement.

But on a 280Z, the front bumper would completely overwhelm a small spoiler. For these cars, a bigger air dam is the way to go.

And the good part about the BRE (spook) spoiler.......it actually works! On my front spoiler I added two vertical supports, from the spoiler to body, for additional stiffness. It does seem to help a bit more.....just feels more stable.

There's a lot to be said about functionality and a timeless design such as the BRE spook. It is my preference but I don't dislike the modern designs.

I really like the look of the "British" spoiler on the front of a 240-Z. I don't know if any of our members have one. You see them on cars in England and Europe. They are very small, much smaller the the spook, like maybe three or four inches deep. They don't interfere with the original lines of the car much.

That is unless one plans to ditch the bigger bumpers. Federal Schmederal, I'm gonna remove mine one of these days.
