Edited links to go to new posts, not just new threads

Mike, being a fairly heavy RSS user, I tried this on the site quite some time ago, only to find that I got notices of new threads, but not of replies to existing threads. Has this been changed so that I'll see new replies?

I've subscribed already, so I'll post this and see if it shows up...

Yup, I confirmed it also. Not too helpful that way.

You know what WOULD be handy, Mike? If we could subscribe to a feed on a per-thread basis, in addition to new threads as it is now. That way we could scope out new threads as they are posted, and subscribe to feeds on those we are interested in.

Hi guys, I also got the RSS syndication working for the Gallery and for the Classifieds modules:

Classifieds:
http://www.classiczcars.com/classifieds/external.php?type=RSS2

Photo Gallery:
http://www.classiczcars.com/photopost/external.php?type=RSS2

You can put these links into your RSS newsfeed clients and they will be updates when we receive new info...

Interesting... I think you're right that it only shows new threads and not replies. I'll have to do some digging to see if we can get replies included in the RSS syndicate.
Found it and fixed it. There is a final tag that needs to be added to the feed URL to tell it to pull from the latest post, not thread creation. I edited the URLs in Mike's original post, and here's the URL for RSS2 here as well.

http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/external.php?type=RSS2&lastpost=1

Using this URL works to the way I expect - notices of new threads, or new replies to an old thread.
