Posted July 4, 200717 yr comment_214100 I have been running 15-40HD Delo in all of my vehicles for years and have had very good results. However they are changing the formulation and it is now sold as 15-40LE. I am told that it will be without one of the additives that is really good for the cylinders and block. There is a limited amount of 15-40 formulations to choose from.My Napa guy says their 15-40 is made by Valvoline? I have run Castrol and Valvoline in the distant past and had good luck with them. I am very particular what I run in my 240, and imagine many of you are as well. When I find something that works well I stick with it. Any of you have any thoughts on a particular type of oil? Happy 4th of July and thanks in advance. John Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/24780-oil-type-question/ Share on other sites
July 4, 200717 yr comment_214101 Hey John This is a well discussed issue - I would recommend a search - oil or engine oil. That should give you lots of opinions.Good luck Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/24780-oil-type-question/#findComment-214101 Share on other sites
