I am working on clearing time to attend-but, once again, I will be in a Volvo-sigh! Hopefully it will be the last out of town Z event I attend in the Volvo.

I am working on coming in Friday and leaving after the show on Saturday- and probably stay at the suggested hotel.

Hey Will! Maybe we'll get some time to drink a beer and chat. I'm supposed to be conducting two judging orientation seminars during the day. Vicky is coming with ZRush. Should be a bunch of fun. If you are coming down Friday night, perhaps I'll come up early and meet you. Don't worry about the Volvo. You can park it next to my BMW!

I have a 280ZXGL that needs a tune up, some bushings replaced, and an AC swap, but I need every available second for to get the 240Z ready for Daytona-I'm waaay behind...It will be there though, I can sleep after the show!

I am planning on leaving Savannah on Friday after having lunch with my wife (rolling out no later than 2pm). I'll bring a few things you might find interesting.

Equally cool in this is I won't be giving up time working on my 240Z to come, I was to have control (hehehe...yeah, right!) of the boyz for the days in question, but my sister(a 240Z fan but not fanatic) offered to keep the boys when I mentioned the situation on phone conversation within her earshot. She is the undisputed queen of evesdropping and poking her nose where it has no business!

Anyway, back in '87 I gave her a '73 240Z I had recently restored when she ran her previous car into the ground-in college, she still remembered how great the car was, and how I came to see her every three months or so to take care of it(readers digest version). Amazingly enough 20 years later, she wants to take this opportunity to say thank you in a Z way! You have to know my sister to fully understand my suprise...:eek:

That's way to hectic....plan to stay over Saturday night - get some rest and leave Sunday. Far safer trip plan... You'll be too tired to leave right after standing around all day Saturday at the show...

This show is supposed to be a pretty nifty deal. From what I hear, the Nissan dealer, Autoway Nissan of Clearwater, is providing the whole schmere, doing one of those radio live remotes, big promotion. Hey all you Florida Z owners! Z PARTY !

Rain or shine!

If you are preparing your Z for judging at the 2007 Convention in Daytona Beach or just want to show your Nissan for fun, come out and join us for this people’s choice car show.

Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. and judging will take place between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., with trophies being presented at approximately 3:00 p.m.

There will be food, refreshments, music, and lots of great cars!

*Tech sessions will be going on throughout the day, including judging seminars and detailing classes. Judging seminars will address the guidelines being used at the convention car show.

*Certified Nissan service techs will be available to answer your questions.

*For an additional fee, you will be able to get your car detailed, your oil changed or even dyno your car.

I'll be headed that way after dropping the boyz at daycare Friday morning(around 8:30AMish), and got the OK from my version of she who must be obeyed to layabout until Sunday! BTW, I am headed to the farm today, so hopefully the hood support clip will be making the journey with me!

Had a blast Saturday! I heard fifty some-odd cars were registered, but I counted closer to seventy. Many, many thanks to hls30Will for a really great gift. Ms. Vicky ZRush was there. Oh I could go on and on...

The show was held inside and outside the showroom. I'll bet there were twenty cars in the showroom. Autoway Nissan provided food and drinks and music.
