I finally sold the BMW z3 I bought down south, so I can now get back to the 240z. I made a small profit (which I intend to sink back into the 240z), but the time I wasted and aggravation made it almost not worth it.

I plan on getting it media blasted within a week, then a few minor metal fixes, then off to the body shop for paint and prep. I'll keep everyone posted and put up pics as soon as something changes.

That's good news Zak. Your like me, moving forward slowly but surely. Does this mean your not hanging out on the BMW site anymore? I checked your spelling... perfect! LOL

Ron...you should go to the bmw site for a good laugh. Almost every post was about color of grills or speaker sizes with the odd mechanical type check-engine-light question. Guys would flame you for spelling and seat color.

I just got to scraping more paint off the z and laughed when I realized the cleanest part of my car is the hood I got from you at the meet. I was there today talking to Mike trying to locate a drivers door or outer skin to save myself a bunch of prep time on my rough and pitted door.

I cant type anymore...gotta get back into the garage!

bmw club here in colorado is really aggravating. Especially when it comes to getting behind the new track. They have a lot of track events, driving schools and autox's but don't want to put in the $8k for a new track which they will be part owners of. Hopefully, they will get some board members that are track enthusiasts and get behind the new track.

It's a long story, hopefully it will all work out and we can have a track by '08
