jdm head light covers

E. I asked for a shipping estimate and didn't get one - that plus his low total number of feedbacks made me wary of bidding as well. Not that I could swing it right now anyway. Plus there are much more pressing things needed for my Z. Gary D.

There in nice shape, not new but nice. All I have to do is make up a set of lenses. Thats the easy part. He says he will be getting in another shipment of JDM parts next month. I'm going to stay in touch with him. He has 5 Z's in various stages of assembly.

Hi Rex:

If you got the instruction sheet, can you read it? :-)

Can you Post a picture of the Parts Number Labels? Just wondering what colors are on them.

I considered bidding...until I looked at the seller's numbers and rating.

All 7 of his points are from being a buyer and he has one negative against him (8 total positives, 1 negative)....in Japan.

Granted that was 3 years ago.

But now he's a seller. Supposedly out of Gardena California.

Shipping isn't mentioned and he posts his e-mail address as being at Hotmail.

To top it all off he specifies a check or money order for payment.

Hmmmm..... I'll pass for now. I may lose out on a bargain, or maybe not get my butt kicked by a rip-off.

Not saying that he IS illegit, just that there are too many spots on his record to not consider a leopard.

Moonpup:

No, not from what I recall.

The seller in the auction you posted has been active continuously since signing up and receiving feedback. The one in the prior auction had 3 years of inactivity IIRC between his posts as a buyer and then as a seller. Also, the previous seller had one negative, this seller has none.

I was watching them (no intention of bidding, just watching). I didn't notice any mention of a reserve on there before....I wonder if he added that to the auction, and maybe it cancels all the bids when you do that?

Clicked on bids - which now says "0" and this is what shows up. By all seven bidders it says reason for cancellation is "Wrong Bid." http://offer.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewBids&item=160148701725

My understanding was the seller could not change the auction - like add a reserve after it had a bid. Of course they can always say "no longer available" or "misinformation in description" or some such to cancel the auction and start over. There was a $650 bid so reserve must be huge. Maybe the high bidder had a lot of negative feedback - another reason I hate that they changed from showing the bidders auction name to Bidder #1, 2, 3, etc.
