July 23, 200717 yr Author comment_216064 So I've done all the testing I can by useing the service manual and the EFI "Bible" and have determined that I have blown the EGU (electric control unit) Have been unable to find any junk yard Z's in my neck of the woods. I'm assuming that that would work if I could find one. I can only imagine what the dealer would ask...Does any body out there have an extra???Thanks for bearing with me on this post...Chris Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/24940-76-280-still-not-starting/?&page=2#findComment-216064 Share on other sites
July 23, 200717 yr comment_216067 Chris,You Are talking about the ECU on the kick panel under the steering wheel right? If so Sorry can't help you, Got rid of my extra a few weeks ago. Someone may have one from a parts car or they are on ebay every now and again for pretty cheap. We have our lil Z Family here I have the 280, my bro has the 260 (which he is selling to whoever wants it) and my sis in law has the 240.
