Oil Sending Wire on Harness

today i was cleaning the wiring harness getting it ready to re-install into the engine bay and just happened to take the boot off covering the connector that leads to the sending unit and found this extra wire inside the boot. Im not sure where this is suppose to connect to. The wiring diagram in the fsm shows only 1 wire however this lead has two, and the harness only has the bullet connector (female end) to plug into. Any suggestions would be appreciated as usual..... 1973Z
