sblake01 Posted July 27, 2007 Share #13 Posted July 27, 2007 MSA wouldn't have brass bushings that I'm aware of. I never owned a Dodge, I just remember that it said that on the package. I did own a 71 Plymouth Duster 340 6 pak that I wish I had today. It's probably rarer than a sub 500 VIN 240Z.
deadflo Posted July 27, 2007 Share #14 Posted July 27, 2007 How difficult is it to replace those bushings? I was going to ask the same question . My 79 shifter has felt a bit sloppy a of late.

hd240z Posted July 27, 2007 Share #16 Posted July 27, 2007 Ebay has several shifter bushings for sale. Just search there for "240z shifter".The hardest part on changing the bushings is keeping track of the c-clip on the end of the cross pin that the bushings fit over. The clip wants to fly away when you pry it off unless you are very careful.
sblake01 Posted July 27, 2007 Share #17 Posted July 27, 2007 Why go eBay? There under 3 bucks at the dealer. 32855-H1010
