July 27, 200717 yr comment_216670 Exterior panel disassembly:1. Start by removing the hood and inspection flaps.2. Remove the wipers and the cowl. (giving you access to the hidden fender bolts)3. Remove front bumper, grill and lower valance.4. Unplug all lights in the fenders, and remove all bolts holding on the guards.5. If you got all the bolts the fenders will come off in 1 piece (no need to separate headlight buckets). It it doesn't move, you've missed some bolts.6. Unbolt the door hinges from the chassis and remove doors with hinges attached. (Take a note of any shims the might be used so you can replace them correctly). Or you could leave the hinges on the car and just unbolt the doors.7. Moving to the back of the car, remove the rear bumper.8. Remove the Hatch9. Remove the rear tail light panels, and tail lights.Thats basically it for stripping off the body panels, I don't think I missed anything. You should remove the windows too, but you have to start removing interior panels to get to the bolts that hold the quarter windows in.
