A creative leader likes to use alot of different tools to keep his troops safe.Keep in mind they are technically "his" men, if they get hurt, He answers. So I can believe he would use this forum as a means to keep his (somtimes Knuckle headed) soldiers safe. 76- his post reads he's been an aviator for 22 years. Not that a Cheif Warrant needs anyone to run to his aid, but these men are highly respected breed in the Armed Forces, we don't salute them because they graduated from college, a warant gets saluted because he graduated the school of hard knocks. As for those of you that are not familiar with what 2 77's is referring to, yall should check out the movie Black Hawk Down, it kind of shows what i'm all about. I do have a more serious question...how to get at those darn rear driveshaft bolts!!! cant seem to get my wrench on em!!! Thinking of paying my pals at the Car Quest shop to do my clutch work for me......I was at the auto skills shop and since they decided to close up early today, i decided not to go after the clutch job myself. September 1, 200222 yr comment_14497 Driveshaft bolts shouldn't be a problem. 2-14mm wrenches are all you need. Spin the driveshaft around till one of the bolts is accessible (usually on the bottom when the yokes are angled), usually you can break them loose with an open end wrench but a box wrench will work much better. Once you see how the yokes angle away form each other as you turn the driveshaft you will see how it's done. You might want to spary a little WD-40 or something similar on them as they do tend to get rusted fast a lot of times, not only together but also to the flanges.You can't turn the nut on the inside more than a little at a time, so most of the time I turn the bolt itself on the backside, breaks the bolt loose while you take the nut off. They have a very coarse thread so once they are loose you will find they come off rather quickly. However safety is a first even if your the only one in the car you may cause an accident to someone else.
