Ive searched these blogs high and low for 0-60 times, and evry time i find a little something, someone always changes the subject and no one posts what they got. So, im asking evryone that reads this to get out your stop watch and see what you got, and come here and simply state what time your 0-60 is and what modifications you did to get that time ( even if your stocker posts it) . Lets see who the better driver is!

Started a year ago April, haven't finished yet:eek:!

In the mean time I have found having the engine in the car(or the car being towed) really helps...:stupid:

Slow. Mine is a bone-stock '71 240Z, does somewhere around 9.5 seconds as I refuse to abuse the car. R&T magazine clocked theirs at 8.7 back on 1970. Seems about right as I'm probably being easier on the launch and shifting slower than they did.

Not too concerned about 0-60mph times, rather who can exicute the next set of twisties the quickest. These are sports cars.....intended for going around curves in style. If I had put as much effort and $$$ into the engine as I have in the suspension and brakes, my '70' would certainly be quicker in a straight line!LOL

I've got no idea as to mine. I'm not launching it hard until I get my Ron Tyler diff brace installed, I've broken two diff mounts already.

It's definitely not below the 6 second range, which is when cars start to get 'fast'.

...now, my '68 Fury after I rebuilt the trans and dropped in a 440? Heh. Try high 5-second range. For being 4200 lbs and nearly 18 feet long, that thing MOVED. I miss being able to light the tires up for a full block and getting thrown back in the seat when I stomped on it from a roll. Of course, she cornered like a dump truck with a full load.

I thought my 280 was quicker than that, but I really don't want to know - could spoil things.

However I was looking on youtube last night at the 08 Altima and the guy did three runs in a coupe c/w 6 speed, 3.5 - turned up 5.93 in one run.
