Headed to Denver

Heading to Denver, CO at the end of Aug for vacation. Just wondering if there is any kind of a Z meeting or if someone from the site wants to meet up for some Z talk.

Here's the calender from the local z club. Not much going on at the end of the month. Unless you like wine tours. The show-n-shine is more of a collection of local car people, not a z only show. I haven't been to this one so I'm not sure how many usually show up.

We have our monthly meetings the first wednesday of every month at a restaurant near mile high stadium.

Once you get your dates set let us know and I can see how many people might be around to meet up for a pepsi.

Going to be in Denver from the 25th to the 30th of Aug. Would love to meet a couple of the club members and BS a bit over a Pepsi or other cold beverage. I will not be with Z car but would love to see others. Going to catch the Rockies on the 25th or 26th and then the Broncos on the 30th. Anytime in between would be great.

What part of Denver will you be staying? I don't think you're just coming here to watch the rockies or broncos. What else did you have planned for your time here?

Rocky mtn nat'l park, pikes peak, mt evans. These are all nice day long drives. Maybe one evening we can get a small group together after you get done sightseeing. It's always a challenge if it isn't a track day. ;-)

Wife, daughter and me are going to see my parents. They stay in Denver off of East Alameda Ave. I am from Colorado so there is not much I have not seen but the wife has never been there. I plan on quite a bit fun things. Zoo, 6 Flags. A trip on I-70 to Vail, Aspen, Glennwood Springs (POOL) and what ever I can think of.

How far east on Alemeda? I'm in Broomfield, Daniel is in castlerock, pop's Z is in ft collins, cethern is in thornton. I'm not sure where lonetreesteve is, but I will think of it. :-D

Looks like Dave and busters at colorado and I-25 might be a good place. There is a parking garage.

Please keep posting the plan to this thread. I'd sure like to join, but my schedule is all over the map right now.

Darrel, D&B is a good location - I like it. The only other place I can think of is a little place called Duffy's that has amazing Sticky Buns. It's a bit further south, not far off I25 at Hampton IIRC. If it turns out that the time to meet is in the morning, might be good to meet there for coffee and buns.
