August 7, 200717 yr comment_217730 Gary;Just tell people to close one eye when looking at the car! E In the shape it is in at this point that might not be a bad idea. Closing both eyes might be best tho. G. August 8, 200717 yr comment_217762 So do any of you guys have a contact for the guy in Japan who makes these headlight covers to suit a G-Nose? I am real keen to get my hands on a pair. Unless someone on this site has a set they would like to part with. I might live down under but realise that if I want a set I will have to get them from overseas somewhere. Any leads would be much appreciated as half a dozen guys over here want a set. August 8, 200717 yr comment_217769 Darbji:You can find them at MSA as well as the clear ones. However, as mentioned in one of the earlier posts, make sure that you're not then begging for a ticket. Some DOT's take a really dim view (pun noted) of tinted headlight covers regardless of the shade/color or how good it may look on the car.FWIWE Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/25099-does-anyone-have-headlight-covers-on-a-silver-z/?&page=4#findComment-217769 Share on other sites
August 9, 200717 yr comment_217879 Just for info, the perspex glass of the OEM ones, and the MSA type ones, are completely a different shape. The OEM ones are much more bulbus and curved towards the front of the headlight pod (where the top and side plane of perspex meet). The MSA type one is a lot more angular in this area. I think this helps the look of the car with the OEM ones on in my opinion.
