You could buy the "Euro-Style Balance Tube Polished and Plated" from http://www.ztherapy.com/

But that runs $160.

I was going to make a snide remark, but then I realized that my 71 never had EGR, so my experiences didn't apply.

are you guys talkin about the hole that the EGR sits above on? my 280z has been popping like crazy after a headers and intake install. I plugged the bung on the header, but the EGR and the diaphragm is still open. Can I take off the EGR and block the hole with an aluminum plate? or will the off readings of the EGR blocked still cause the issue (hiccuping, popping in the intake, hesistation)?

Been tryin to get this thing running smooth for a while.

Any help is appreciated.

I replaced all the vacuums, and timing should be dead on since it was running completley fine before the headers and intakes went on. i guess i can double check things. But does not plugging the EGR cause hesitation when applying initial throttle?

thanks.
