Any ideas on if we just cur the wiring if it will eliminate this?

I am trying to start my engine as of late and the seats have been removed. I would hate to think this was causing me a problem.

How does it stop the car from starting? Is it because it doesn't let the fuel pump activate?

It serves no purpose as far as I can tell but its there none the less. I can take a pic sometime but I thought it was on all of them. It just says push. I guess I could look in my manual but that would be to easy besides I wouldnt get the out pour of love and support that I get from the fine people here at Classic Zcar ROFLROFL

Anyway it really is there and who ever tells me what it is will recieve a great prize....a set of flat tops carbs!!!ROFLROFL

Anyone know the best way to remove it or disable it?

Mine doesnt work because my car will start if I reach in and turn the key from the outside of the car. Maybe remove the fuse that says interlock?

My '77 Z's the same way although I don't think I have the Button.

Although If I did I would program it to my Bank Account

cause I could use a extra C-note about now
