Just wondering what you guys thought of the look of a Z with raised white letters on tires . I had them on my silver 71 with aluminum mags and I thought it looked great. Maybe the look is just dated, but so am I:).

Looks like we both have the Appliance Aluminum mags but my Falken tires do not have raised white letters.

I have no objections to the raised white letters except they were not readily available in the early 70's.

As long as you keep the letters white and the rest of the sidewall black, they look good! When you let both turn gray-no no noooo!

I agree that the white letters need to be brite white to look right. By the way Kinfish I am looking for a cap for these wheels. The cap has PM on it and I am only missing one.

I'll go against the grain... I think they look redneck. I painted straight over the lettering as soon as I got my car home with the new tyres...

I don't mind white letters, as long as they are solid, not outline. The outline letters never looked good to me, even though I sold them for years.

That is really funny.... I'd think that "painting" over them is the red neck part....

I had outlined white letters on my metallic blue Z since the mid 70's. Goodyear GT's... I replaced them with blackwalls a couple of years ago - and the car hasn't looked right to me since. To my tastes the solid white letters are toooo much...
