However, that's an HVAC vacuum diagram and his car probably doesn't even have AC. We seem to get that (or something like it) whenever someone just wants an underhood simple vacuum diagram. That said, we'd still need to know what year.

You know, this comes up often enough that we need to deal with it properly. The lack of diagrams in even the factory service manuals is a problem.

Perhaps those of us who own stock, unmodified cars could draw up a diagram, one for each model year. I can do this for a US market '71 240Z, who else wants to take a stab at this?

I am replacing my tubing soon, so I will be doing this anyway, and I guess I can just post it here. I have a 1983 280zx

280ZX vacuum diagrams aren't that difficult to find. They're in the FSM Basically, anything 1974 and down is where it gets kind of sketchy.

Do you mean tube or hose LOL? Sorry, couldn't resist.
That's funny!

BTW, could someone post the cavuum diagram fior the engine on a 78? If there's onw on the underside of my hood, then the PO covered it with undercoating. :hurt:

thxZ
