Hi folks,

I've got a 77 280Z that ran very well up until last winter, turns out the fuel pump (for whatever reason) isn't pumping fuel to the engine. Power is getting to the pump but it's not working. I bought a used pump off eBay and I'm going to put it on any day now.

I saw an add for a Z-car on eBay while I was cruising through and read the description of a similar problem with a fuel pump also in a 77 Z-car.

The guy said that the car would run if you "cheat the pump" :cross-eye

What the heck is the guy talking about, and is it a temporary or permanent fix???

Thanks..............
